No, Aquabots
are ready to go right out of the box and can be plugged into any standard US grounded
outlet. The unit is lightweight and can easily be used by any member of
the family. - Does the Aquabot
hook up to my pool filter?
No,
Aquabot is totally independent of your pool's filter system. No bulky hoses,
booster pumps or added plumbing. - How
often should I use the Aquabot?
The
Aquabot can be used as often as necessary. Homeowners are pleasantly surprised
at the Aquabot's ease in keeping your pool sparkling clean.
- Will it work in my type of pool?
Yes, the Aquabot works on all residential sizes, shapes, and surface pools.

it know the difference between the floor and the wall?
Aquabots have a built in Motorola micro-processor and mercury
switch system that guides the Aquabot horizontally, vertically and laterally on
any surface to complete its preprogrammed cleaning cycle.
- Will it get stuck on a ladder or main drain?
Aquabots can not get trapped on a ladder or main drain because
they never go in one direction for more than five minutes due to its micro-processing
control program; allowing it to back out of any situation it may get into.
- Is it safe to use in the water while swimming?
Manufacturer suggests you do not use the Aquabot while swimming,
however, it is completely electrically safe -- the long cord may pose a hazard
to younger swimmers. - How long does
the unit last (life expectancy) ?
The Aquabot's construction is modular so any parts needing to be replaced can
be easily done so by the homeowner or an authorized
service center like The Aquabot Shop. - How
often do you have to change the parts and what parts will need to be replaced?
Normal wear and tear parts include belts which are easily replaced
by the homeowner. The bag is machine washable and should provide years of
trouble free service. The warranty varies by
model covering defects in workmanship and materials by the manufacturer.

RETURN POLICY: The Aquabot Shop offers a Customer Satisfaction guarantee.
Within 30 days, should you decide to return your unit, please call our Service
Department toll free at (866) 948-8501 to obtain a Return Authorization
Number. After 30 days, not to exceed 60 days, a 15% restocking fee
will apply, as well as additional charges if unit cannot be resold due to damages
or abuse*. We apologize but we are unable to accept any returns after 60 days.*All
returns will be thoroughly inspected and customer will be responsible for damages
due to abuse. WARRANTY: All units, both residential and commercial
, carry a one year manufacturers warranty with the exclusion of the T2, T4, and
Pool Rover Plus which carry a three year manufacturers warranty. The Aquabot
Turbo does come with a 2nd year warranty with registration (motors only).
The following parts are not covered by warranty: filter bags, drive belts,
brushes, and drive tracks. These items may require replacement in the ordinary
course of use due to normal wear. Therefore, these parts are not covered
by warranty. |
